Change is inevitable…the question is: Are you ready for it? In today’s fast-paced world, transformation is happening in every aspect of our lives. Evidence-based research steers healthcare through a constant state of regenerating policies to ensure that we are providing quality care to our patients. To facilitate and affect positive change, we must set the example and put this into practice. Change doesn’t need to be perceived as negative, with coaching and mentoring it can become a new opportunity to achieve greatness.

Iowa Nurses Association (INA) invites you to participate in a celebration of leadership. This year’s conference and annual meeting will take place Thursday, October 24 and Friday, October 25, 2019 at the Des Moines Marriott Downtown in Des Moines, Iowa.

Presentation proposals should have a focus on the immunizations, nurse wellness, workplace violence, diversity and other topics related to nursing in Iowa.

Posters are open to nursing professionals and students. The following types can be submitted:
• Research
• Quality Improvement—pilot projects, clinical innovation, and change projects.

Each poster presenter must register for the conference and be available for discussion on Friday, October 25. Posters must be displayed on a trifold, free-standing poster board no larger than 3’X4’. Electronic application will consist of:
• Project type
• Project title
• Statement of purpose/clinical questions
• Framework/background and significance
• Method (design, setting/sample, protocol/implementation)
• Findings/results
• Conclusions/implications

If you have any questions, please contact or call 515-225-0495.
